Resources
Here are some of the resources I used through the making of this website. I hope you find them useful!
Course textbook:
Patton, L. D., Renn, K. A., Guido-DiBrito, F., & Quaye, S. J. (2016). Student development in college: Theory, research, and practice. San Francisco, CA: Jossey-Bass, A Wiley Brand.

This website was created for the Middlebury Institute of International Studies course Holistic Student Development Through Student Services taught by Professor David Wick. The assigned textbook - Student Development in College: Theory, Research, and Practice provided an introduction to almost all of the theories represented on this website, as well as explanations, examples, and further research.

Professional organizations:
About NASPA. (n.d.). Retrieved from https://www.naspa.org/about/about-naspa
Mission, Vision, and Values. (n.d.). Retrieved from https://www.myacpa.org/values

I drew from NASPA and ACPA in creating the mission for this website. These professional organizations have a wealth of information about the student affairs field.

Additional information on theories:
David Kolb. (n.d.). Retrieved from https://www2.le.ac.uk/departments/doctoralcollege/training/eresources/teaching/theories/kolb
Self-Authorship Theory. (n.d.). Retrieved from https://uthsc.edu/tlc/self-authorship.php

For this project, I drew on Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle, which was not covered in our textbook, and found further information on Baxter Magolda's self-authorship theory, which helped me in understanding the connection between the three questions and the four phases of the journey of self-authorship.
