Recommendations
As students develop in their ways of thinking, their moral reasoning, and their identity development, the ways in which Career Services and Experiential Education support students must also develop.

I have included various program-specific recommendations on the program pages. A general summary of recommendations would be:

-
The experiential education journey should start during a student's first year and continue throughout their time as an undergraduate,
-
Tie in coursework with experiential opportunities to ensure that students have the proper preparation and support before taking on hands-on learning,
-
Reflection is key to progressing in development, and providing structured opportunities for students to reflect will facilitate this development,
-
Involvement of faculty, staff, and other members of the university community are critical for students to feel supported in making these developmental transitions, and,
-
Drawing ties between major, coursework, experiential education, and career through involving various stakeholders, both on- and off-campus, ensures that students are able to make the most of all facets of their undergraduate educational experience.
